June 11, 2014

Bloustein School alumni, current students, and faculty and staff are cordially invited to attend the inaugural event of the Bloustein School Alumni Association Philadelphia Regional Alumni Group, which will include light refreshments, a planning talk, and and a post-talk alumni networking event.

Participants are invited to meet at The Academy of Natural Sciences (19th and The Ben Franklin Parkway) for light refreshments at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday June 19, 2014. Beginning at 6:00 representatives from the Philadelphia Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, along with other city departments, will share the city’s progress in a discussion, “State of the City–An Urban Sustainability Forum,” which will focus on meeting the goals set forth in the Greenworks Plan, which sets the ambitious goal of making Philadelphia the “greenest” city in the country.

Following the presentation, at approximately 7:30, participants are invited to attend a Bloustein School alumni networking event at the Cherry Street Tavern (22nd and Cherry Streets) to meet up with fellow alumni.  Happy hour pricing will be available to Bloustein School alumni and their guests.
