Bloustein School Convocation Ceremony 

Monday, May 18, 2026, 10:00 AM EST

Check-in for students begins at 8:00 am and closes at 9:00 am.

The formal BLOUSTEIN SCHOOL CONVOCATION ceremony will recognize each graduate individually with pomp and circumstance.  Students will cross the stage and have their names read as they are recognized.

Important note: GRADUATE students with August 2025, October 2025, January 2026, May 2026 and August 2026 degree dates, and UNDERGRADUATE students with January 2026, May 2026, and August 2026 are invited to participate in the school convocation.

Livestream on Facebook

For our families and guests who are unable to attend the event in person, we provide a livestream link to the full Bloustein School Convocation on Facebook. The live stream will begin at about 9:50 a.m., but the Procession of Graduates will not start until 10:00 a.m.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We do everything we can to ensure the live streaming goes smoothly. However, we cannot account for connectivity issues.

Regalia (Cap & Gown)

Academic regalia is required for participation in all events. Rutgers–New Brunswick graduates can purchase regalia from Barnes and Noble Rutgers University Bookstore through the online store. The link to the bookstore will be posted here spring semester when it becomes available. 

Parking

Parking is ample and available in the Yellow and Green Lots adjacent to Jersey Mike’s Arena.

The convocation program will be available on the morning of Monday, May 18 prior to the start of convocation.

Photos

The Bloustein School hires an independent photographer for the Convocation event. Graduates and their families are welcome to download all photos FREE OF CHARGE for personal use. The Bloustein School holds the copyright to all photos. Photos may not be used for any marketing or promotional purposes or without the permission of the subject of the photo and the Bloustein School.

Photos will be posted a few days after the event. All current and past graduations and convocation of the Bloustein School can be found on our website.

For ease of finding the website, we include a QR code on the program available at the in-person event.
